'Hedwig and the Angry Inch' to be performed at Forrest Theatre

The rock musical was the winner of four Tony Awards in 2014

John Cameron Mitchell and Stephen Trask's rock musical "Hedwig and the Angry Inch" will be performed at the Forrest Theatre from April 18-23.

The plot revolves around a fictional rock 'n' roll band's East German lead singer, Hedwig Robinson, who is transgender.

In the Broadway Philadelphia performance, Hedwig will be played by Tony and Olivier Award-nominee Euan Morton.

Tickets for the performance begin at $62 per person. 

In 2014, "Hedwig and the Angry Inch" was the winner of four Tony Awards.
