Remember when it was warm outside, and we did things like sit on the grass and listen to music? Well, the folks at WXPN have given us a friendly reminder that warmer days will someday return.

Some headliners for 2018’s XPoNential Music Festival have been announced, and next summer’s concert will see the return of The War on Drugs to the BB&T Pavillion. This marks the Philly band’s third appearance at the festival, having previously performed there in 2008 and 2012.

Though the full line-up hasn’t been announced yet, we know The War on Drugs will be joined by Kentucky-based, country-rock songwriter Sturgill Simpson and by New Orleans-based Preservation Hall Jazz Band, the latter of which is making its third consecutive XPoNential appearance.

More info about artists at this year’s fest will be announced at a later date, but if you’re already sold on attending the three-day event scheduled for July 27-29, tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday on Ticketmaster.
