City Tap House in Logan Square thinks that there is no better way to start counting down the hours until the "Game of Thrones" season six finale on June 26, than by serving up a "Thrones"-inspired brunch. Lemon cakes, of course, are on the menu.

Brunch starts at 11 a.m. and a "Game of Thrones"-themed quizzo, lead by Johnny Goodtimes, is scheduled for 1 p.m. at the restaurant.

The themed-brunch items are listed below:

•Game of Scones for $8: Buttery scones, raspberry and apricot jams and honey-thyme butter

•Dragon Wings for $12: Ten spiced chicken wings, spicy "dragon" sauce, crisp vegetables and blue cheese-ranch

•Sansa’s Lemon Cakes for $12: Lemon ricotta pancakes, witches stewed berries and honey-thyme butter

•Lord Varys' Beef and Bacon Poutine for $12: Braised short rib, applewood smoked bacon, waffle fries, Vermont cheese curds and fried egg

•Peasants Board for $14: House selection of cheese and charcuterie

Two of Ommegang's "Game of Thrones" beers will also be on tap: 7 Kingdoms Hoppy Wheat and Iron Throne Blonde.

Making a reservation for "Brunch of Thrones" is recommended.
