These days, there are plenty of places that focus on providing customers with quick meals that won’t sabotage their diets.

Below are five Center City Philadelphia restaurants offering healthier options for those in a hurry.

HipCityVeg

Fuel

1225 Walnut St.

The tagline at Fuel is "Recharge Yourself." (Fuel/Facebook)

Fuel promises every meal on its menu is under 500 calories, but that doesn't mean munching on a plate of bland lettuce.

According to its website, menu items include asparagus wrapped with smoked salmon topped with fresh melon, charred corn and olive oil and a summer Paleo salad made with mixed greens, watermelon, honey cashews and fresh figs in a Dijon lemon vinaigrette.

Pure Fare

119 S. 21st St.

Pure Fare offers a menu of mostly organic ingredients. (Pure Fare/Facebook)

Pure Fare's menu is 100 percent gluten-free and mostly organic and features items like homemade salads, sandwiches and smoothies made-to-order and to-go.
