Midtown Village Fall Festival J. Fusco/Visit Philadelphia™

In a neighborhood that’s always ready for a party, the Midtown Village Fall Festival is a highlight of Philadelphia’s busy fall festival season. Usually held the first Sunday in October, it draws thousands to Midtown Village/Washington Square West/the Gayborhood (depends who you ask!) for a day of family entertainment, food, shopping and all-ages activities.

The annual Midtown Village Fall Festival returns Oct. 1. Attendees to the massive street fest can eat, drink and be merry from noon to 8 p.m.

Nine blocks of Midtown Village will be shut off to traffic, so that beer tents, stages and vendor stalls can utilize the streets. Below is a guide to navigating through everything the festival has to offer.

Blocked-Off Streets for the Festival

•13th Street, from Market to Locust streets
•Chestnut Street, from Broad to 11th streets
•Drury Lane
•Sansom Street, from Broad to 11th streets
•Chancellor Street, from Juniper to 13th streets
