A music video featuring Cowboys defensive end Greg Hardy, who has been likened to "human garbage" for his response to domestic abuse charges against him, has surfaced, showing him delivering a message to his haters, so to speak.
According to TMZ, the video was made in 2014, a year in which Hardy was convicted of assaulting and threatening a former girlfriend, allegedly throwing her onto a couch littered with assault rifles.
That conviction was later overturned after Hardy appealed and the accuser failed to show up to court. He was originally suspended 10 games for the incident, but that sentence was reduced to four.
In the video, Hardy accompanies rapper Ja Alan with a host of strippers, cash, and gunfire sound effects.
More from TMZ:
Right before Hardy spits his featured verse, a chorus of gunfire rings out. He then raps about women -- saying, "It'll be a cold day in hell before your girl tries to play me."
If you must watch the video, you can view it on TMZ here.
Hardy, to put it mildly, is no stranger to controversy. Aside from joking about the attacks made on the World Trade Center on September 11 and banner-gate, he has received criticism for recent comments following the assault accusations, including those about Tom Brady's wife Gisele Bundchen and saying he wanted to come out "guns' blazing" on the football field.
As TMZ puts it...
If Hardy was planning to fix his image -- this video sure as hell ain't gonna help.
