Class teaches how to mix, shape and bake sourdough bread at home

Philly Bread owner Pete Merzbacher will be the instructor

Greensgrow will host a bread-making class on Saturday, April 15, with Philly Bread owner Pete Merzbacher.

While the event is more than a month away, tickets for any Greensgrow how-to class tend to sell out fast – like within a few days fast.

During the April baking session, attendees will learn how to mix, shape and bake bread at home.

Merzbacher will go over the basics of sourdough fermentation, and everyone will leave with sourdough starter, fresh bread, baking instructions and recipes.

Just think, with that new knowledge, making something similar to a Panera bread bowl is totally possible.

Tickets are $35 per person. Attendees should bring a notebook, wear clothing they won't mind getting messy and wear closed-toe shoes.
