Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf responded to a federal judge's decision to temporarily block a travel ban that stopped many from predominantly Muslim countries from entering the United States Saturday, calling it "the right thing to do."
"Blocking this poorly thought-out and unfair travel ban is the right thing to do – no one is above the law," he said on Twitter Saturday afternoon.
Judge James Robart of the Federal District Court for the Western District of Washington put a stop to the ban late Friday, which became effective immediately. Airports were instructed to allow passengers into the country.

President Donald Trump signed the executive order during the first week of his presidency that barred refugees from entering the nation for 120 days and banned Syrians indefinitely. Immigrants from Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen were also prohibited from entering the United States for 90 days.
His decision sparked outrage among many across the country after reports of families with valid paperwork were denied access into the United States.
Two Syrian families who reportedly had immigrant visas were sent back to Damascus last Saturday, leading hundreds of demonstrators to gather at Philadelphia International Airport.
The White House also responded to the judge's decision Friday, calling it "outrageous" and vowed to put a stop the judge's order.
Trump responded via Twitter as well calling it a "terrible decision."
