As part of their Legends Series, Di Bruno Bros. is hosting The World Tour, a night of guided tastings by cheese experts from around the world, Thursday, June 25. Six cheese geniuses will serve up a rotating selection of cheese from the United Kingdom, Holland, France, Italy and Spain.
To sweeten the deal, Marc Vetri will be serving his own hand-crafted pasta and Herb Eckhouse of La Quercia cured meats in Iowa will carve up his famous Berkshire Prosciutto. Di Bruno Bros. Chef James Liuzza will be making Duck Lovers Pizza and Wild Weide Grilled Cheese and Brooklyn Brewery will create beer pairings for the night, too.
Proceeds from the event go toward the Daphne Zepos Teaching Award, which supports a student's trip abroad for one year to learn about cheese. Yes, we're jealous, too.
