Gas prices rise in New Jersey

Still much lower than last year

Drivers in New Jersey are experiencing a sharp jump in prices at the pump, NJ.com reports.

The bad news: Gas in New Jersey rose 10 cents to $2 a gallon Friday. This is due to rebounding crude oil prices as well as decreased production.

The good news: That's still much lower than last year, when a gallon cost $3.23.

This trend is something Philadelphians are feeling the effects of as well.
