Gas price dip may be leveling off

As the old saying goes, all good things must come to an end.

To break the news to you slowly, you may want to fill up your gas tank now, and take one last picture for social media while you're at it.

According to NJ.com, gas prices could have reached their lowest level before rising once again. 

As Tom Kloza, dean of U.S. oil analysts, told NJ.com, this could be the week when prices "wobble," which for drivers means "the cheapest of the cheap prices may increase a little bit, while the higher priced name brand gas stations continue to come down a little more.”

As of Monday, the lowest prices were ranging from $1.69 to $1.71 a gallon, according to Gas Buddy.com.  The official average price for a gallon of regular in New Jersey is now $1.97.

As of Friday, gas prices had fallen for a record-breaking 113 consecutive days, the longest streak since AAA started keeping track of daily averages 15 years ago, MarketWatch reported.
