Friends, family mourn Shane Montgomery's death at funeral

Some closure was reached Friday in the tragic death of Shane Montgomery. Funeral services were held at St. John's Baptist church in Manyunk, where family and friends mourned the 21 year old. The West Chester student went missing on Nov. 26, 2014, in Manyunk after leaving Kildare's Pub, leading to a search that lasted more than a month before his body was found in the Schuylkill River on Jan. 3. His death was ruled accidental by medical examiners.

While the painful saga in Montgomery's case may be coming to a close, two Philadelphia families are just beginning their search for a missing loved one. Maurice Cunningham has been reported missing Friday after the 12-year-old left his home following an argument with his father, while Middle County Institute of Technology teacher Christopher Tully was reported missing Thursday in Philadelphia.
