Before Bastille Day on July 12 and before Philly's Bastille Day cabaret show on July 14, Schmidt's Commons will host a movie screening to kick off the anniversary week of the French Revolution.
On July 10, a free screening of "Les Miserables" will begin at 7 p.m.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket, and to sing their hearts out to "One Day More." Food and drink will be available for purchase before and during the free movie screening.
For those who can only remember the songs and not the plot, the 2012 film takes place in 19th century France, beginning with Jean Valjean (Hugh Jackman) released from prison.
