ManeStreem, an app that offers professional beauty and hair services on-demand, has been throwing get-togethers all summer to promote their business. During each ManeStreem Mixer, attendees who register are treated to complimentary massages, hairstyles and makeup by a selection of the company's artists.
The next Mixer is slated for Aug. 29, from noon to 5 p.m. The setup will be a little different than previous events, however, since the location is the pool at Monarch Philly in Northern Liberties.
Admission to the pool is $10, a big discount from the normal fee. Once inside, a free braid bar will be on-site for attendees to receive fishtail, waterfall and milkmaid braids and other styles from the professionals.
Massages will also be complimentary, but no makeup sessions will be provided, since attendees are encouraged to go swimming.
Mixer attendees will be able to use swan floats (you know, those ones Taylor Swift's squad loves to Instagram) in the pool and purchase cocktails from the Monarch bar.
Registration is necessary to attend.
