A kitchen worker was stabbed by a former employee at a Delaware County school Monday morning, 6abc reports.
The incident occurred before 10:00 a.m. at the Jack M. Barrack Hebrew Academy in the 200 block of South Bryn Mawr Avenue in Radnor.
The suspect, a former kitchen employee, stabbed a current worker and threw bleach in the victim's face before fleeing the scene, according to a statement released by the school.
Police say the suspect was taken into custody at a SEPTA high speed line stop in Haverford.
The victim was transported to the hospital with head and neck injuries. The suspect, whose hands were cut, was also taken to the hospital. Neither have been identified.
Students were in class when the incident took place. The school followed its lock down procedure, according to Head of School Sharon Levin.
There were no other reported injuries.
