El Vez landed a spot on the Food Network's list of 10 nacho joints to eat at from coast-to-coast. The network said a frozen blood orange margarita is a great way to enjoy the retro setting — which is no doubt true — but a steamy, gooey, delicious plate of nachos is the best way to kick back.
El Vez, which also has a New York City location, has two delectable nacho dishes.
First, there's the Macho Nacho, which is comprised of chorizo, black beans, smoked chili salsa, crema fresca, white cheddar cheese and monterey jack cheese.
Then, there's the pizza-like Nacho Mama — made with black beans, smoked chili salsa, crema fresca, white cheddar, monterey jack cheese.
