Flyers fans eyes will no doubt immediately be drawn to Feb. 23, when the Penguins come to town for a duel under the night skies at Lincoln Financial Field as the in-state rivals play outdoors for the second time in two seasons.
But there is a lot to be excited about as Philly looks to improve on an early playoff exit last season, as the NHL officially released the new slate Thursday night.

Other highlights include the season opener out west in Vegas against the 2018 Western Conference champions on Oct. 4, the annual Black Friday game at home on November 23 and their first bout against the Stanley Cup winners in Washington on Jan 8.
