At first, it was a shoe. Who throws a shoe? Honestly.
A source in the crowd tonight tells me a woman didn't have a hat to throw on the ice for Schenn's hat trick so she chucked her shoe.

As it turns out, Brayden Schenn’s hat trick against the Flames brought more to the ice than hats and shoes. Via Breakfast on Broad, this Flyers fan looked more than happy to throw her bra onto the ice:
