While the Stanley Cup Playoffs continue on, the Flyers announced the 2016-17 preseason schedule on Tuesday. The Orange and Black will keep things close to Philly, playing a home-and-home (with one exception) against the three New York area teams and the Boston Bruins.
The Flyers’ home game against the New Jersey Devils on September 28th will take place at the PPL Center, home of the team’s AHL affiliate, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. The Orange and Black also played a preseason game there in 2015. All games are schedule for 7:00 p.m. with the exception of the preseason finale in Boston, which will be at 5:00 p.m.
Television coverage is still to be determined.
