Flavors of the Avenue returns to East Passyunk

Twenty-five neighborhood restaurants are participating

Named for the avenue that winds through the community, East Passyunk is a study in old-meets-new. Locals and visitors have welcomed an influx of restaurants, pubs, boutiques and shops in recent years, while longstanding mom-and-pop shops help the neighborhood retain much of its old-world vibe.

East Passyunk's Flavors of the Avenue will take place April 24. The annual event has already sold out of VIP tickets but general admission is still available for $50 per person.

Of course, tickets are for entrance into an exclusive food tent. The street festival on East Passyunk Avenue is free to all.

Outside of the food tent, enjoy live music, vendors and a Style Row with a fashion show.

Inside the tent, general admission ticket holders have access to food tastings and drinks. Sip on Sailor Jerry cocktails, enjoy Canyon Road and Barefoot wine or drink craft beer from Troegs and Victory.

As for food, so far there are 25 restaurants participating. Neighborhood favorites like Bing Bing Dim SumNoordP’unk Burger, Townsend and Le Virtue will share bites with attendees.

Note that online ticket sales will end on April 20, unless sold out before.
