Northern Liberties is home to many independent shops and boutiques.
Something big is happening in Northern Liberties and Fishtown this month. The 2nd Annual Night Out Restaurant Week will take place August 21 through August 30 at 20 different eateries in the area, including a few in Penn's Landing.
Multicourse dinners are running for $35 while multicourse lunches will cost $20. Spots like Bar Ferdinand, Cantina Dos Segundos, Circles, Morgan's Pier and The Pickled Heron will participate. While some restaurants are taking reservations, others will not, so be sure to check ahead if you want a table.
SugarHouse Casino will get in on the action, too. Each night of the weeklong event they'll have special live entertainment. Acts like the Lefty Lucy Duo and the Big House Trio will be performing. Those who dine at participating restaurants can bring their Restaurant Week receipts to SugarHouse during the promotion to receive $25 in match play, too.
