Celebrations over Villanova's NCAA win Monday night got a little out of hand in Radnor, leading to dozens of injuries, several fires and, most bizarrely, one arrest for assaulting a horse.
Radnor police told USA Today that an individual was arrested for assaulting a police horse, but they declined to give any details about what this means or the identity of the suspect.

It's only a misdemeanor charge, so one can assume that the animal was not badly hurt in the horseplay.
In addition, emergency responders had to deal with several fires and more than two dozen small injuries, the most serious of which was a dislocated elbow.
“There were a lot of individuals who were highly intoxicated,” Radnor police Sgt. Shawn Dietrich told the paper.
All classes at Villanova University and the Law School were cancelled Tuesday.
Police were prepared for shenanigans, especially those officers who remembered the celebrations after Nova's 1985 win. Radnor scheduled extra officers and canceled all vacation days and time off before the basketball game, as Philly.com reported. They were, therefore, well-prepared to take on even the most menacing threat.
