A firefighter was struck by a vehicle while responding to a call in Montgomery County on Monday, CBSPhilly reports.
The incident happened around 11:30 a.m. on the 1600 block of Swamp Pike in Gilbertsville.
The firefighter was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The striking vehicle remained at the scene, according to officials.
The incident remains under investigation.
