There's been a bit of drama taking place in the local sports talk radio scene this week – not counting the normal Philly sports drama that typically consumes the airwaves.
Honestly, I can't remember the last time that wasn't the case.
And it's about to get a little more interesting just in time for the NFL Draft, as former SportsRadio 94 WIP host Josh Innes will be back in Philadelphia, doing his Houston-based show from draft's host city.
Innes, who was fired from WIP in August after several on-air controversies and reports of him alienating co-workers behind the scenes, currently hosts The Josh Innes Show on Sports Talk 790 in Houston.
And with the recent gossip going on at his former station's rival, 97.5 The Fanatic, it'll certainly be interesting to what Innes has to say – not just about Philly, its teams and its fans, but also the two sports talk stations in the city he called home for about two and a half years.
