Prepare to eat a lot of fried pastries because Federal Donuts is throwing a block party on Sunday, Oct.1, and there will be multiple doughnut walls.
That's right, there will be rows and rows of delicious sugary doughnuts ready to be plucked from pegs. Plus, attendees can nab fried chicken sandwiches from FedNuts.
The block party will be held on Sansom Street, outside the eatery's flagship shop, from 1-4 p.m.
Joining the festivities will be Rooster Soup Co., hosting a grill-out, and Yards Brewing Co., serving $5 beers.
Proceeds from beer sales will be donated to Broad Street Hospitality Collaborative, so drink up.
Live music will be provided by Killiam Shakespeare, DJ Royale, WhoaPhat featuring Sam Gellerstein and Max Swan.
Besides being a great excuse to forgo a diet, the event will be a launch party for the new cookbook "Federal Donuts: The (Partially) True Spectacular Story," which debuts Tuesday, Sept. 26.
The book, which includes recipes, is by Michael Solomonov and business partner Steven Cook.
The Federal Donuts Block Party is free to attend, just pay-as-you-go.
