The news is pretty solid coming out of Week 4's fantasy football action, as there are only a handful of minor injuries to star players but nothing huge. So as we wait for the real studs — like Saquon Barkley and Austin Ekeler to get healthy — the injury reports in the meantime should be pretty light.
Here's a look at some updates from Week 4 action:
Mike Evans, WR, Buccaneers
A hamstring injury held Evans to just three catches Sunday, but the injury is reportedly minor. Adding to Evans' hopes for a speedy return is Tampa's Week 5 bye. Expect him to be healthy or close to it in two weeks.
Tee Higgins, WR, Bengals
Higgins fractured a rib, which does not sound like an easy injury for a wide receiver. His status will be up in the air for Week 5 but it seems likely he might miss a little time. It's hard to find fantasy options on this beleaguered Cincinnati offense. I guess fire up Tyler Boyd?
Javonte Williams, RB, Broncos
Williams got just five touches before a hip flexor injury knocked him out of Denver's win over the Bears. He is not expected to have long-term issues and could be back next week.
Pat Freiermuth, TE, Steelers
Three catches is all the Steelers' top tight end would produce, as he left with a hamstring injury. His playing status is one to monitor, as hamstring injuries can take a wide variety of forms.
Kenny Pickett, QB, Steelers
It seems like it was just not meant to be this season, as things continue to go wrong in Pittsburgh. A knee injury is expected to keep Pickett sidelined for a few weeks, but it is not a torn ACL. Mitch Trubisky will be the starter going forward and is not fantasy-relevant in most leagues.
Matthew Stafford, QB, Rams
The veteran Stafford has been solid despite missing Cooper Kupp, but he sustained a hip injury in Sunday's overtime win. He might be on injury reports leading up, but he told reporters he will be playing next week.
