The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has confirmed that all United Airlines flights will resume in the United States after they were grounded on Wednesday due to a computer issue.
Travelers should still expect delays.
Mary Flannery, a spokeswoman with the Philadelphia International Airport, said Wednesday morning there were 18 United flights that were delayed. She said the 18 included both departures and arrivals.
Some efforts were being done to assist those who were affected.
“The airport is providing refreshments to the United passengers,” Flannery said.
According to CBSNews, this is the second time in two months that United flights have been delayed because of computer glitches.
United Airlines said the company was working to resolve the issue.
Meanwhile, passengers expressed their frustration on social media.
