To celebrate the new Evil Genius brewery and taproom opening soon in Fishtown, the brewing company is opening a pop-up beer garden. Over the weekend of July 8, Philadelphians will be able to stop by 1727 N. Front Street for a cold drink.
In partnership with Home Brewed Events, opening weekend of the pop-up garden will feature live music on Friday, a block party and free movie screening of "American Pie 2" on on Saturday and games on Sunday.
Block party attendees will be given a sneak peek of future events planned, plus they will be able to brew beer with Home Brewed Events. Rotating food trucks will be on site for the entire weekend.
Through October, Evil Genius will host spontaneous beer gardens in the space. Check their Facebook page for details, but so far the next one scheduled after opening weekend is July 22.
