Philadelphia-area shoppers will soon have another fashion outlet to browse.
Primark, an Irish-based clothing retailer, announced on Monday the opening date for its new location at the Willow Grove Park Mall in Montgomery County.
The 58,300-square-foot store, which is the second location in Pennsylvania and fifth in the United States, will open its doors on July 19 at 11 a.m.
“Our Willow Grove Park Mall store opening marks another important step in presenting the Primark brand to U.S consumers and raising awareness of our unique formula of Amazing Fashion, Amazing Prices," said Paul Marchant, Primark Chief Executive.
In addition to clothing for men, women and children, the store will offer home goods, beauty products and gifts.
Last November, Primark opened a store in the King of Prussia Mall, which paved the way for expansion.
“We have experienced such a positive welcome in Pennsylvania at both our King of Prussia store and the Bethlehem depot, and we look forward to further developing our commitment to the community with the upcoming opening in Willow Grove,” said Jose Luis Martinez de Larramendi, President of Primark U.S.
The Willow Grove store will employ over 230 positions and feature 59 fitting rooms and 47 registers.
Primark currently operates 310 stores in 11 countries.
