Valentine's Day weekend can be fun for the whole family. Do arts & crafts together, meet Elsa from "Frozen," enjoy brunch or drop the kids off at a special zoo event.
On Saturday, Feb. 11, children ages 6-10 can hang out at Elmwood Park Zoo after-hours. Kids will get a tour of the zoo, play animal bingo, make Valentine's Day crafts, attend a live animal show, watch a movie and enjoy a pizza dinner.
The event runs from 5:30-9:30 p.m., but early pickup is available.

Take the kids to visit Disney's Elsa in Chestnut Hill. The snow queen will make an appearance at Laurel Hill Gardens, while a professional ice sculptor demonstrates ice carving. Complimentary hot chocolate and s'mores will warm up attendees.
Then, take a stroll down Germantown Avenue to see various ice sculptures among the shops and restaurants.

Get artsy on Sunday, Feb. 12, with the annual Print Love In at Fleisher Art Memorial. Kids can create their own Valentine's Day cards while being introduced to different forms of printmaking, including silkscreen, relief, collograph, letterpress and lithography.
There are three family-friendly sessions: 10-11:30 a.m., noon-1:30 p.m. and 2-3:30 p.m.
