It’s officially #GivingTuesday and Eastern State Penitentiary is offering patrons a chance to give back this December in exchange for a deal on admission to tour the former prison.
Beginning Friday through Christmas Eve, Eastern State will host a toy drive with donations going to local Philadelphia children whose parents are incarcerated. If you arrive with a toy or children’s book in its original packaging (not gift wrapped), you’ll be granted a buy one, get one free admission deal.

You can drop a gift donation off and tour Eastern State Penitentiary that day, or deliver the gift and use the BOGO deal during a separate visit. There's also an online delivery option if you choose to order a toy.
