Late in the third quarter against the Seattle Seahawks, Philadelphia Eagles tight End Zach Ertz suffered a head injury when his helmet slammed off the turf as he was diving to make a first down catch.
After being evaluated for a concussion in the locker room, Ertz was ruled out for the rest of the game.
The Eagles' leading receiver, Ertz failed to record a catch in the first half, but caught two for 24 yards in the third quarter before going down with the injury. On the season, Ertz has 55 receptions, 639 yards and seven touchdowns.
