The Eagles announced today that they signed four dudes today -- WR Seantavius Jones, CB Aaron Grymes, WR Xavier Rush, and QB McLeod Bethel-Thompson. A quick roundup of each guy:
• WR Seantavius Jones: Jones has good size at 6'3, 200 pounds, as was a training camp star for the Saints in 2014, according to Evan Woodbery of NOLA.com. He appeared in three games for the Saints in 2015, mainly as a special teams player. The Eagles need bodies at WR.
• CB Aaron Grymes: In his four-year career at Idaho from 2009-2012, Grimes had just three interceptions and 13 pass breakups. Grimes played for three years with the Edmonton Eskimos from 2013-2015, where he had eight interceptions and 14 pass breakups.
• WR Xavier Rush: Through seven games with Tulane in 2014, Rush has 15 receptions for 295 yards (19.7 YPC) and 3 TDs before he tore his ACL. Rush was listed at 6'3, 202 at Tulane. Can the addition of two 6'3 camp bodies be some kind of indication of the wide receiver body type Doug Pederson is looking for? Eh, probably not.
• QB McLeod Bethel-Thompson: We covered "MBT" earlier today.
I'm told the Eagles are now 2/1 favorites to win Super Bowl 51.
