The Philadelphia Eagles announced Friday that they signed wide receiver T.J. Graham to a one-year contract. Graham was formerly a third round pick (69th overall) of the Buffalo Bills in the 2012 NFL Draft.
After fizzling out in Buffalo, Graham has been with the Tennessee Titans, New York Jets, and New Orleans Saints. The Eagles will be Graham's fifth team in as many years in the NFL. His career numbers:
T.J. Graham | Rec | Yards | YPC | TD |
2012 | 31 | 322 | 10.4 | 1 |
2013 | 23 | 361 | 15.7 | 2 |
2014 | 3 | 87 | 29.0 | 1 |
2015 | 4 | 24 | 6.0 | 0 |
TOTAL | 61 | 794 | 13.0 | 4 |
Like Chris Givens, who the Eagles signed weeks ago, Graham has good speed. At the 2012 NFL Combine, he ran a 4.41. Here is his Combine spider chart.
The Eagles have clearly put an emphasis on bringing in speed receivers, after having cut DeSean Jackson and losing Jeremy Maclin in free agency.
They are expected to target speed receivers in the 2016 NFL Draft as well. Here are five who may make sense for them.
