The Eagles were busy today, signing former Redskins CB E.J. Biggers and former Chargers WR Seyi Ajirotutu to a pair of one-year deals. According to a source, they are both "minimum salary benefit" deals.
Biggers played safety for the Redskins in 2013, and moved to slot corner in 2014. In that sense, he's the type of safety the Eagles value, in that he can (in theory) drop down and cover slot receivers man-to-man. At 6'0, he also has the size to play on the outside. Biggers did not play well in Washington over the last two seasons, but he'll get a new start with the Eagles, who are seemingly always thin in the secondary.
In Ajirotutu, Chip Kelly grabs another special teams ace, which has been a major priority in free agency since he arrived in Philly. According to Sheil Kapadia of Birds 24/7, Ajirotutu was among the league leaders in special teams tackles in 2014.
WR Ajirotutu is a special-teams play. Had 12 ST tackles last season. Only eight players in the NFL had more.

Ajirotutu also had two forced fumbles in 2013. He'll likely serve as a replacement for WR Brad Smith, who remains an unrestricted free agent.
Ajirotutu and recently added Charger Ryan Mathews are best friends. They train together on the beach like Rocky Balboa and Apollo Creed. Perhaps they'll rent a shore house in LBI this summer.
