Eagles select West Virginia CB Rasul Douglas with their third-round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft

With their third round pick (99th overall), the Philadelphia Eagles selected West Virginia CB Rasul Douglas.

At 6'2, 209, Douglas has outstanding size at the corner spot in the NFL, and he led the country in interceptions in 2016, with eight. Those two things alone made Douglas an attractive prospect in the 2017 NFL Draft.

A highlight reel:

Douglas isn't always the most willing tackler in the run game, he ran just a 4.59 in the 40 at the Combine, and he can tend to be a gambler in coverage. His gambling tendencies will be viewed by some coaches as a negative, but is likely to appeal to Jim Schwartz.

Douglas is the second corner selected by the Eagles, as they plucked the injured Sidney Jones in round two.
