LB Devin White was released by the Eagles on Tuesday. He never played any regular season snaps for the team.

The Philadelphia Eagles will have two players missing in their Week 1 matchup in Brazil against the Green Bay Packers.

Here's the Eagles-Packers injury report, with analysis.

Player Injury Tues Wed*Thurs Status
CB Isaiah RodgersHandLimited LimitedLimitedOut
LB Devin White Ankle Limited DNP DNP Out

Tuesday notes:

• Rodgers is in contention to have a starting role in the Eagles' defense, likely in nickel packages, on the outside.

• White is also in contention to start at linebacker, with Nakobe Dean and Zack Baun being the other contenders. All three should have role in the defense Week 1, no matter who starts.

Wednesday notesThe Eagles didn't practice on Wednesday, as they are traveling to Brazil. This report is just an estimation of who would/wouldn't practice, by the team.

• White is out and won't travel with the team to Brazil, which means that barring a big surprise the starters at linebacker will be Zack Baun and Nakobe Dean.

Thursday notes:

• Rodgers is out. That opens the door for Kelee Ringo to "start," likely in nickel on the outside. It is anticipated that Quinyon Mitchell will be the CB2 opposite Darius Slay, and move inside in nickel.

Notable players on IR, PUP, suspension, etc.

S Sydney Brown (PUP): Brown tore an ACL in the 2023 regular season finale against the New York Giants, and is still rehabbing that injury. During training camp practices, Brown could be found standing well behind the action during team drills, engaged and taking mental reps. He also did sprints on a side field, and looked fast.

But he'll spend the first four games on the PUP list. The Eagles have four safeties on their active roster — Chauncey Gardner-Johnson, Reed Blankenship, Avonte Maddox, and Tristin McCollum.

S James Bradberry (IR): The Eagles kept Bradberry on their active roster for no good reason at 53-man cutdowns, and then the next day he suffered a "lower body" injury that will keep him out 6-8 weeks.

WR Ainias Smith (IR): After a shaky camp that finished mildly promisingly, Smith conveniently suffered an ankle injury that will keep him out 4-6 weeks.

TE Albert Okwuegbunam (IR): The Eagles burned an IR-DFR designation on Okwuegbunam prior to 53-man cutdowns. He is out a projected 6-8 weeks with a core muscle injury.

Tuesday notes:

• Lloyd is a rookie third-round running back. The Packers' backfield will look different in 2024, as they lost Aaron Jones in free agency this offseason, and signed Josh Jacobs.

Jacobs will start, but Lloyd is expected to be the Packers' RB2 this season. The Eagles might actually want Lloyd to be available, as he had a very high fumble rate during his college career.

• Doubs is a starting wide receiver. He had 59 catches for 674 yards and 8 TDs in 2023.

• Cooper was the Packers' second-round pick this offseason.

Thursday notes

• Josh Jacobs will likely get a heavy workload, as Lloyd and Wilson are the only other backs on the 53-man roster.

• Kraft is the TE2. He had 31 catches for 355 yards and 2 TDs as a rookie in 2023.

Notable players on IR, PUP, suspension, etc.

RB AJ Dillon (IR): Dillon is the Packers' 247-pound sledgehammer back. His season is over with a neck injury.
