The Philadelphia Eagles and First Class Cruises announced today that Eagles Legend Back Brian Westbrook will join a star-studded lineup of legendary players aboard the Inaugural Philadelphia Eagles Fan Cruise. The seven-night cruise sets sail in March 2022 on Royal Caribbean’s luxurious “Anthem of the Seas” and will stop at several Caribbean islands, including Port Canaveral, CocoCay, and Nassau.
A multi-threat back armed with exceptional playmaking abilities, Westbrook finished his Eagles career as the franchise’s all-time leader in total yards from scrimmage (9,785). During his time in Philadelphia, the two-time Pro Bowler and first-team AP All-Pro helped guide the club to four NFC East crowns, four NFC Championship appearances and a berth in Super Bowl XXXIX. Westbrook is widely remembered for his iconic, game-winning 84-yard punt return touchdown at Giants Stadium in October 2003, best known as the “Miracle at the Meadowlands II.” Upon his retirement, he became one of only six players in NFL history with 30+ rushing touchdowns (41) and 30+ receiving touchdowns (30) in his career. He was inducted into the Eagles Hall of Fame in 2015.
Passengers that embark on the Inaugural Philadelphia Eagles Fan Cruise will have the opportunity to engage with current Eagles players and team legends, including Hall of Fame safety Brian Dawkins, David Akers, Harold Carmichael, Vince Papale, Mike Quick, Ike Reese, Merrill Reese, Jeremiah Trotter and 10 current Eagles players to be announced at a later time.
