During the Philadelphia Eagles' practice on Thursday, center Jason Kelce threw a little bit of a temper tantrum, prompting speculation that he injured himself in some way.
Jason Kelce not happy about something at practice today. Kicks trashcan, slams door on way out of practice 😳

Did come back. Hope he’s ok

With LT Jason Peters done for the season and LG Stefen Wisniewski still nursing an ankle injury, the loss of Kelce would mean that a potential left side of the Eagles' offensive line could be Halapoulivaati Vaitai at LT, Chance Warmack at LG, and Isaac Seumalo at C. Yikes.
As it turns out, 'tis but a flesh wound.

"What happened is, I'm an idiot," Kelce said. "You'd think at 30 years old I might be able to control myself a little better than that. I got cleated in a drill, and obviously I had an ankle sprain a couple weeks ago. The best way I can equate it is when you're doing yard work, and you hit your thumb with a hammer, and you throw the hammer halfway across the yard.
"I got a cleated down the front of my shin. Very minimal damage long term, but it hurts like a bitch in the moment."
In other injury news, Stefen Wisniewski (ankle) was a limited participant in practice today after missing practice fully on Wednesday. Wide receiver Alshon Jeffery and defensive end Steven Means both missed practice with illnesses. The Eagles would be wise to quarantine them.
