Eagles safety Sydney Brown is believed to have suffered a torn ACL early into Sunday's Week 18 loss to the Giants, the NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports.
Gunning it on a punt following a stop on the Eagles' opening drive, Brown booked it straight downfield to the Giants' punt returner but went flying past trying to make the tackle.
After the whistle, Brown was seen throwing his helmet off visibly hurt and needing help off the field, getting taken to the blue medical tent on the sideline. Soon after, he was carted off to the locker room, with the team ruling him out for the remainder of Sunday's game with a knee injury.
They're now looking at the worst-case scenario.

Brown, a third-round rookie, found playing time quickly within a much-maligned Eagles secondary, starting in five games this season from Week 7 onward entering Sunday.
A lot of his talent is still raw, but he flashed promise, marked especially by his 99-yard pick six last week against the Cardinals – though ultimately in a loss that kept the Eagles spiraling.
The Eagles' defensive backfield was thin, and flawed, enough as is, and now it looks like Reed Blankenship and Kevin Byard will have to shoulder even more of the responsibility over top against Tampa next week.
Brown, meanwhile, is looking at a lengthy recovery timeline.
