More injury news is pouring in for the Eagles during a much-needed bye week. Linebacker Nakobe Dean, a third-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, is headed to injured reserve with a Lisfranc injury, per the NFL Network's Mike Garafolo:
#Eagles LB Nakobe Dean has been diagnosed with a Lisfranc sprain, sources tell me and @RapSheet. Dean, who called the defensive signals to start this season, will see a foot specialist to determine a course of action but he’s expected to be placed on IR. pic.twitter.com/SE2sEykwLW

Dean played just 34 defensive snaps in his rookie season and looked primed for a bigger role in 2023, but injuries continue to pile up. A Week 1 foot injury landed Dean on IR for the first time this season. He was activated back in October in time for the Eagles' road matchup with the Jets.
In five games this season (four starts), Dean had recorded 22 solo tackles. He also picked up a half-sack against Dallas in Week 9, the first sack of his career.
A Lisfranc injury is in the foot and has historically required surgery, which would effectively end Dean's season. For a defense that's as thin at linebacker as the Eagles, that's a brutal turn of events all around.
