The Eagles are just a little week away from their season opener against the Packers in Brazil, but are already dealing with injuries. On Thursday morning, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero reported that defensive back James Bradberry suffered a "lower leg" injury in practice on Wednesday:
#Eagles veteran DB James Bradberry suffered a lower leg injury during yesterday’s practice, sources tell me and @TomPelissero.

Although surgery is not required, the injury involves a tendon and recovery time for an injury of this nature is approximately 6-8 weeks. pic.twitter.com/GvIGxudgIr
The injury, as the report notes, will sideline Bradberry for six-to-eight weeks, but will not require surgery.
After a difficult 2023 season at cornerback, Bradberry had gotten in work at safety this offseason. There was speculation as to whether he would make the Eagles' roster this season, but Bradberry did ultimately crack the 53-man roster out of camp. Now comes a setback for both him and the Eagles' overall secondary depth.
UPDATE:
Bradberry has been placed on Injured Reserve, per ESPN's Jeremy Fowler:
