A.J. Brown was made inactive Monday night against Atlanta due to a hamstring injury, and he might miss a bit more time because of it, too.

The Eagles' star receiver told ESPN's Lisa Salters that he expects to miss a couple of weeks while he recovers, which was revealed during the Monday Night Football broadcast from Lincoln Financial Field.

It was already a blow to the Eagles' offense to be without Brown on Monday night, but to have him sidelined for any extended period of time is an even greater one.

Brown caught five passes for 119 yards and a big 67-yard touchdown last week against the Packers, and since his arrival to Philadelphia via a draft night with Tennesee in 2022, has been a half of one of the NFL's best wide receivers duos alongside DeVonta Smith.

Between those two, Dallas Goedert, and new running back Saquon Barkley, part of the Eagles' offensive success relies on overwhelming opponents in talent, so taking one piece away will inevitably put more strain on the rest – plus depth pieces like Jahan Dotson, Grant Calcaterra, and Kenny Gainwell.
