The Eagles' released their inactives against the Cowboys. The most notable name is Marcus Smith, who is healthy, but still cannot crack the 46-man roster.
Eagles' inactives:
• QB Stephen Morris: Morris continues along with his Matt Barkley role of being the inactive #3 quarterback.
• WR Seyi Ajirotutu: Suffered a concussion last week against the Falcons.
• OL Dennis Kelly: Eagles will go with just seven active offensive linemen, as they did last season. Kelly can play multiple positions, but not center, where Josh Andrews will get the nod instead.
• OL Julian Vandervelde: Again, only seven OL will be active. Vandervelde signed with the team this past week after being cut at the conclusion of the preseason.
• DL Brandon Bair: Taylor Hart will be active for the second straight week over Bair.
• LB Marcus Smith: The former first-round pick can't find a role on this team, even with a lack of depth at OLB.
• CB Denzel Rice: Developmental undrafted defensive back will have to wait to see his first NFL action.
Cowboys inactives:
• WR Dez Bryant: Bryant will be out after breaking a bone in his foot anywhere from 6-12 weeks, depending on what report you believe.
• LG Ronald Leary: Leary injured his groin against the Giants. Mackenzy Bernadeau will start in his place.
• DE Randy Gregory: Gregory injured his ankle against the Giants, and will out for about a month.
• TE James Hanna: Hanna injured his knee against the Giants. He's the Cowboys' third TE -- Geoff Swaim will take his place.
• RB Christine Michael: The Cowboys traded a late round pick to the Seahawks for Michael, but he remains inactive behind Joseph Randle, Darren McFadden, and Lance Dunbar.
• DL Ryan Russell: Warm body along the defensive line.
• DL Ken Bishop: Another warm body along the defensive line.
