The Eagles' injury report lists seven names this week, however, nobody has been ruled out. The biggest name to watch as we get closer to game day, by far, is Jason Peters, who was officially listed as questionable. Here's a look at the Eagles' and Cowboys' injuries, with analysis.
OUT
• OT Jason Peters (back): Peters left the Eagles-Panthers game on a cart after suffering what looked like a potential devastating injury, such as a torn ACL, or ruptured Achilles, but it turned out to just be back spasms. Last week, we spoke with a doctor who explained the healing process with back spasms. Peters was originally listed as questionable, but the Eagles officially ruled him out on Saturday.
QUESTIONABLE
• RB Ryan Mathews (groin): Ryan Mathews has unquestionably been more productive so far this season than DeMarco Murray, however, Mathews' history of nagging injuries in San Diego have followed him to Philly.
• WR Nelson Agholor (ankle): This could be the third straight game Agholor will miss, although it's worth noting that he was a full participant in practice all week.
• ILB DeMeco Ryans (hamstring): Ryans did not participate in practice Wednesday or Thursday, and was a limited participant on Friday. With incredible talent and depth at ILB, there's little reason to rush Ryans back if there's a question as to whether or not he should play.
PROBABLE
• ILB Kiko Alonso (knee): As we reported earlier this week, Kiko Alonso is likely to play this week. It will be the first time he has played since Week 2 against Dallas.
• DE Brandon Bair (groin): The batted pass specialist should be a go for Sunday, but it's not a certainty that he will dress in favor of DE Taylor Hart.
• OLB/ST Bryan Braman (shoulder): Braman should be a go as well. He is one of several special teams studs for the Eagles.
QUESTIONABLE
• S Barry Church (back): Church is probably the Cowboys' best safety. He played with the same injury last week.
• WR Brice Butler (hamstring): After Dez Bryant got hurt, the Cowboys traded a fifth round pick to the Raiders for Butler and a sixth round pick, dependent on Butler remaining on the Cowboys' roster for six games. When the Cowboys made this trade, they likely thought there wouldn't be much of a difference between a late pick in the 5th round (because they thought they'd make the playoffs) and an early pick in the 6th (because the Raiders are, you know, the Raiders). As it turns out, the Raiders are 4-3 and playing good football. The Cowboys are 2-5, and, not. Butler has three receptions on the season.
PROBABLE
• WR Dez Bryant (foot): Bryant didn't look anything like his normal dominant self a week ago against the Seahawks, when he was only able to bring in two catches for 12 yards on seven targets. He'll been one more week further from his injury this Sunday.
• QB Matt Cassel (knee): Cassel took a low hit from Seahawks DE Michael Bennett last week, so his knee is a little banged up.
• DE DeMarcus Lawrence (back): Lawrence is an up-and-coming player, but statistically, his season has gotten off to a slow start. Lawrence has 22 tackles (four for loss) and just one sack in seven games.
• TE James Hanna (ankle): Hanna is the Cowboys' third TE behind Jason Witten and Gavin Escobar. He has three receptions on the season.
• DE Greg Hardy (face): Police photographed Hardy's face after he called 911 on his ex-girlfriend over a year ago, per a report from Deadspin. He has likely recovered by now. Picture via Deadspin.com:
