Someone from NBC must have been watching the Philadelphia Eagles' win over the New England Patriots and liked what he or she saw. Because a day later, it was announced that their upcoming home game against the Arizona Cardinals has been moved to primetime.
Originally scheduled to be played at 1:00 p.m. on December 20, the Week 15 game will now be NBC's Sunday Night Football game, thanks to the NFL's flex-scheduling.
The Cardinals are currently three games ahead of the Seahawks for the NFC West lead and with a win over the Vikings this upcoming Sunday, would roll into Lincoln Financial Field with an 11-2 record. They also boast the No. 4 scoring defense in the NFL.
But that's just the start -- Arizona's offense may be even better. No team in the league has scored more points or gained more yards than Carson Palmer's Cardinals. The Eagles, meanwhile, improved to 5-7 with their win over the Patriots and will have to face LeSean McCoy and the 6-6 Buffalo Bills before shifting their focus to the Cardinals.
