PHOENIX - The Eagles' 2017 opponents are already known. It's only a matter of the order in which they play them. This year the Eagles will have the following road games:
- Dallas Cowboys
- New York Giants
- Washington Redskins
- Los Angeles Rams
- Seattle Seahawks
- Kansas City Chiefs
- Los Angeles Chargers
- Carolina Panthers
If you'll notice, the Eagles will play two games this season in Los Angeles.

If the Eagles have it their way, they would prefer that they play their Los Angeles opponents on back-to-back weeks, and just stay out in Southern California in the interim.
"Looking at the schedule and looking at where we're going, one of the proposals was to try to stay out on the west coast twice, for two games," said Doug Pederson at the NFL Annual Meetings. "We'll see next month when it comes out if we were able to get that."
That's a pretty simple request that the NFL should reasonably be able to accommodate. As a reporter covering the team and all of its road games, I fully endorse this idea.
