The ESPYs have been around since 1993, and most years there hasn't been much of a reason to watch them if you are a Philadelphia sports fan interested in seeing the local teams be honored nationally. When the 2018 ESPYs air on July 18th, the Eagles, as well as other local athletes and teams, will be well-represented.

Julie Ertz, a soccer player and the wife of Eagles tight end Zach Ertz, is also nominated for "Best Female Athlete."
