Dunkin' Donuts may be joining the list of chains to begin delivery, CNBC reports.
Recently, chains like Chipotle, Starbucks and McDonald's announced plans to test on-demand food delivery.
"Delivery is clearly a big opportunity," Dunkin' Brands Chairman and CEO Nigel Travis told CNBC's "On the Money" in an interview.
"The trend in this country is convenience. So I think delivery plays very strongly. I think the next few years you're going to see us get more and more into delivery."
Travis said the company is currently developing mobile ordering in a private test and will likely launch mobile ordering sometime next year.
