In his press conference with the media Friday, Philadelphia Eagles head coach Doug Pederson was asked if Sam Bradford has separated himself in terms of performance from Chase Daniel and Carson Wentz.
"I think so," Pederson acknowledged. "I think he's done an outstanding job. When you're spreading reps equally with three guys, that's what you want to see, and I think he's really done a nice job of taking that next step to be the leader of this football team and be the starter. He's done a good job."
Throughout Eagles OTAs, practice reports have varied in terms of which quarterback has looked the best. So far, according to the guy who matters most, it's Bradford.
The Eagles drafted Carson Wentz with the idea of allowing him to learn the position before he's thrown to the wolves. That plan appears to remain in place.
